hello to all,

This weather for November is just super for now. I love it. The trees here are all bare. I dread seeing the leaves all gone, and leaves blown onto my lawn. It’s fall for sure.

Benefit supper

For Crystal Coffin family on the loss of her son Brandon. At Mammie’s in Unity Thursday, Nov. 10, 4-8 pm Raffle also. Cost by donation. Spaghetti supper will be delicious.

Hunter’s Breakfast

On Saturday, Nov. 12, Freedom Volunteer Fire Department will be cooking eggs to order, bacon or sausage, beans, hash browns, pancakes, toast, juice, or coffee, 5-10 am, $8. Support our Fire Department.

Anthony Lancaster got a 9-point, 158-lb. buck. Morgan Bonin got a 6-point, 161-lb. buck. Reese Brown got a spike horn buck, no weight given but she said good size for the freezer. good for them.

There is a rise in RSV, respiratory syncytial virus. It is most noted in young children. take care. Some people have been sick with the flu.

The clocks went back an hour earlier Sunday morning. Time to test, and change the batteries in the smoke alarms, and the carbon monoxide alarms, too.

Walking across America

Isaiah Glen Shields has been walking from the westernmost point of the United States, Washington State, to the easternmmost point in Maine, West Quoddy Head Lighthouse in Lubec. At this writing he’s nearly there.

He was in Gouldsboro, headed for Steuben on Sunday. He hopes to finish on Sunday, Nov. 13. Walk America, Day No. 490, 8,487 miles walked. Look for him on Facebook as he takes pictures along the way and shares. He took time off to tour and hike Cadillac Mountain this past weekend. He’s off again. He’s simply amazing. He’d like people to subscribe to his YouTube channel.
